A familiar world, seen with new eyes.
A DIFFERENT WAY OF SEEING
The starting point was an idea from Marcel Proust: discovery comes from seeing with new eyes. I wanted to turn that thought into a moving image.
Familiar landmarks become pieces on a chessboard. A clock keeps moving, eyes look out from unexpected places, and the scale of things shifts. You recognise the objects, but their connections make you look again.
For me, that is what collage can do: take something you think you know and let you see it differently.
OUT INTO THE CITY
At OFFF Barcelona 2026, the animation was projected onto Disseny Hub. The building became part of the composition, its outline shaping the way the collage appeared.
A work made on a screen became something people could stand in front of together — a small shift in perspective, at the scale of a building.
